Yesterday
Yesterday in class I first helped Nikki with her interview. It was interesting to see how other people's projects are going and be able to help them out. Then after I sat down to finish reading the articles I found over the weekend. I found it harder to focus with everyone else around me, and found that I was not making much progress. At home though, when I was searching around the foundation's website I was making a lot more progress. It got me very excited to raise money for the foundation, after learning how little money could go so far to help a village. Today in class I want to look at a couple more things on the website and then start to plan what I am going to do to raise money.

Maybe you could try bringing headphones to class and listening to music to zone people out, that's what works for me. Or even ask to sit outside of the class or go somewhere else on campus. It can be hard to focus in a room of people even when it's not that loud.
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to do a fundraiser at school, I think it might be helpful to make a short video or a slideshow of sorts that you could either send to everyone by email or play at assembly. But I really love your idea and would be happy to help you out if you need it!
ReplyDeleteYou could have a bake sale or have like a competition that has something to do with the class cup so everyone will want to participate so their grade wins and the money that is either raised, like the penny wars we had last year, or maybe people have to pay to play in the competition?
